What does the Hall look like?
CURRENTLY: The HALL is BURNT DOWN TO CINDERS AND ASH. But it used to look like this : The hall is the main viewing room of an ancient castle. It resides deep within the outstretching arms of a majestic forest. Pushing through the light brush gives way to the massive walls of cold brick that rise before you as you approach the entryway. Thin tendrils of mist escape the clutching darkness about the keep as you enter. Omnipotent darkness looms forth as you take your step. Then, as if triggered by your enterance, the candleabras upon the walls light in synchronicity. As light spills through the darkness, it gives way to the true look of the room. You stand within the main entry-hall. In your direct line of site two monstrous wooden doors rise towards the ceiling. They bar the enterance to your destination, the main hall of this aged palace. As you reach forth to grip the handle you take note that the handle you grip is crafted to resemble a gargoyle. As you note the fine craftsmanship you open the doorway and enter. The vibrant warmth of two fires dampens the icy chilled feeling imposed to you by the stone boundaries aside you. As you step into the room you look upon the walls to see several tapestries adorning them. Each hearths dancing flames flicker-flash on the ascending walls. As if ghosts and specters dance about, images within the stain glassed windows come to life. Griffins, dragons and beasts of a mystical nature come to life in these ornamental windows of decorative color. A large wooden table of oaken nature presses headstrong towards you. It stops feet from you as your eyes still trace along each detail the room provides. The chairs adjourning it are draped in their own separate elegance. However, the head chair stands alone in the brilliance of its craftsmanship. Covered in soft velvet, hues of red and gold and gilt its arms look worn with the hands of time resting upon it. Oddly the sound of light running water enters your hearing. Lifting your eyes you trace them to a large ornamented fountain. You wonder who it never captured your gaze from your enterance. Upon inspection you note its of two sprites that bear eyes of pure mischief, they dance about a blade seeming thrust into the fountain itself. The blade glimmers with an unholy light as it rests. A stone of the darkest shade of red sits encrusted to the hilt of this mighty blade. As you inspect this feast to the eye a voice calls to you ..
Who is allowed to the Hall?
The hall serves as a home for all members of the House of Darkness. However, all other characters of any system may enter and join in on the fun. All systems such as: AD&D, all WOD systems, Gurps, & Freestyling are allowed within this chatroom. As long as a few certain rules are applied to your character. First and foremost, this Hall is a fantasy medieval setting, any weapons dating after the 1400’s will NOT BE RECOGNIZED. Gunpowder is feasible yes, but things such as cannons and revolvers and any other type of weaponry that involves the use of a trigger ( minus the crossbow ofcourse) will be IGNORED. If you cannot deal with this, then quite simply, you are not an adaptive Role Player and those of that caliber do not belong within this storyline. On a final note, all who choose to fight within the Hall using different systems had better speak in Pms about converting damage. If you are going to fight you had better be open minded enough to allow freestyle. And freestylers had better be open minded enough to respect system users. SECONDLY: If your character, is a super powered megalomaniac freak of nature with expertise in everything and no Achilles heal, please seek another storyline. These character types are unacceptable here for obvious storyline hindering reasons.
